Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on the devany.ai website (DevAny). It covers the site itself only — apps created by our users are out of scope. Importantly, measurement (Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking) runs ONLY with your explicit consent — decline and no measurement cookie is written. None of our trackers are ever placed in the apps you build.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit. We use them to run the site and remember your preferences. We also use the browser's localStorage/sessionStorage for similar purposes.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (no consent required): Session/authentication cookies (Supabase) that keep you signed in and secure. When you unlock a password-protected app, a per-app access cookie (da_access_…, 30 days).
Functional / preference (consent-based): Theme (light/dark/system), light/dark tone, accent color, background animation, language preference, sidebar state, whether you've seen the intro tour, and the price-heat and model-list display preferences. All first-party, stored up to 1 year, solely to remember your interface experience.
Measurement / analytics (consent-based): Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads conversion tracking. These run on the marketing pages AND inside the signed-in console; each page view carries which surface you were on (public or panel). If you do not consent, Google's storage permissions stay "denied" and no measurement cookie is written. These cookies are set by Google and are subject to Google's own terms.
Local/session storage (functional): transient data such as your draft prompt, chosen model, and some generation caches.
3. What we don't use
We do NOT use profiling, social-media pixels, or cross-site behavioural advertising trackers. We do not sell or share your data. The only third party we use for measurement is Google (see section 2 above), and it runs only with your consent.
4. Managing your choices
You can accept or reject functional cookies from the banner on the site, and change your decision anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. If you reject, preference cookies are not written (the interface runs on defaults).
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as opting out of functional cookies.
5. Regional rights
European Economic Area / United Kingdom: Under GDPR and ePrivacy, non-essential cookies are used only with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
United States (e.g. California/CCPA): We do not sell or share your personal information, and we honor the GPC signal. Contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Changes and contact
