The design gallery is now curated: when you start a new app you see 10 directions, each one maintained and genuinely distinct from the others. "Let the AI choose" picks from the same 10. One of them is new — Clarity: calm, legible and mobile-first, a language that puts the content first, lets the interface recede, and uses a single measured blue to point at one clear action. It is built for personal productivity, small everyday tools and settings- or form-heavy flows, and both light and dark themes get equal care. Nothing happened to your existing apps: anything built on a direction that left the list keeps working and editing with exactly the same look — no design ever changes on its own. You can move an app to a current direction yourself, whenever you want.
The design picker is now a gallery. There are 20 named directions instead of 8; each has a preview card drawn in its own palette, you can filter by Light/Dark, and selecting one shows its signature and what it deliberately avoids. New directions include warm-parchment Vellum, instrument-panel Terminal, cinematic Noir, Vitrine with no accent colour at all, institutional Meridian and botanical Verdant. The bigger change: most directions now carry a "distilled from real references" badge — how that look is actually executed goes into the build as concrete decisions that recurred across at least three independent references, so the result doesn't slide into the safe average everyone recognises.
The Idea Cabinet is retired. Two simple moves remain: Save an idea — it appears as a ready chip in your dashboard composer, one tap fills the brief; or tick a few catalog ideas and press "Build together" — the briefs merge into one build request and land straight in the composer. No middle screen, no extra fee.
The platform now maintains its own model list: every night it scans for newly released, renamed and retired models and applies what is needed. If a model is withdrawn, your app keeps working on its family's current version; when a newer version arrives at the same or a lower price, it switches automatically. That is how Claude Opus 5 became the default.
You can now attach an action to a DATA EVENT: "when a record is added to the appointments table, run this action" — on updates and deletes too. Notifying an outside service on a new order, cleaning up when a record is removed — it happens on its own within seconds, without you touching anything. Loop protection is built in: records written by the action itself never fire a new trigger. In the dashboard: Connect → Actions → Triggers.
Everyone who signs up to your app now has a role: Member, Staff or Admin. You assign it from the dashboard — a user can't promote themselves. That lets one login hold two different worlds: a customer sees their own record, an employee sees the daily list. In the dashboard: Operate → Users.
You can schedule an action to run on its own: hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. No cron expression — you pick the frequency and the time, and your timezone is respected. A morning summary email, a nightly sync, a weekly report now keep going without you. In the dashboard: Connect → Actions → Scheduled tasks.
For the work a browser can't do, there are now ACTIONS: reaching another service with a secret key, and receiving a notification from outside (a payment, a form, an automation). You don't write code — you describe the job, the recipe is drafted and automatically checked, and you read and approve it. Keys are stored encrypted, never reach the browser and are never read back. In the dashboard: Connect → Actions.
Every app now has the same zero-setup management dashboard: overview, data, users, analytics, campaigns, sharing, domain, integrations, security, code, logs and settings in one place. Switching between builder and dashboard is one tap in the top bar.
The "Discuss" button in the composer lets you talk WITHOUT touching your app: what a screen does, what to add first, whether an idea holds up. No code changes, no new version. When the conversation lands on a concrete change, you get a ready build instruction — one tap drops it into the composer.
The documentation is now a step-by-step visual academy: diagrams, process flows, comparison tables, interactive examples and "try it yourself" exercises. Two tracks — Standard (build and run your app) and Developer (APIs, architecture, code examples, security, troubleshooting). Search, progress tracking and lesson downloads included. Open Academy from the menu.
Email your app's registered users in bulk from the management console. Sending runs in the background — you can close the page; every email carries an unsubscribe link, and anyone who opts out is excluded from later campaigns (their transactional emails are unaffected).
Your generated app can now take real member signups and logins: each user signs in to their own account and sees only their own data. Password reset ("forgot password"), password change and email verification included — ideal for personal trackers and member/customer portals.
See your registered users in the management console: who they are, when they joined, when they were last seen. Remove an account with one tap if needed. You never see users' private content — only the account itself.
See how often your published app is opened (a total plus a last-30-days chart). Privacy first: only aggregate counts are kept — no visitor tracking, no cookies, no personal data.
If your published app hits an unexpected error, the management console shows a short message and which screen it happened on — so you can spot it and fix it in the builder with one sentence. When all is well, the section doesn't even appear.
In the builder preview, tap "Select" and click the element you want to change (a button, heading, card); the edit box fills in with that element's context and you just type what should happen — targeted edits without describing what you mean.
Anthropic's newest flagship is on the platform: the deepest reasoning and top-tier code/UI quality. Pick it from the model selector; it's a premium tier, so it burns credits fast and you'll see a warning on first use.
Import an existing GitHub repo and evolve it with AI: a professional code screen (file tree, tabs, search, diff), changes by chat, and approved changes committed to their own branch with a pull request. Long jobs run autonomously in the background, and you can invite teammates with roles.
