Your AI Credit is a USD-denominated balance drawn down only as you use it. It comes from two sources: your paid plan's monthly credit, which renews each period, and any AI Boost you buy (not reset at month end — it carries over while your subscription runs). The subscription separately provides capacity (live apps, members, traffic, storage). A request that never reaches the provider releases its reserved credit; once processing has started the usage counts as spent even if the result fails — there are no automatic refunds.

Set a spend limit and the run stops by itself at the cap and asks you.
The $–$$$$$ indicator is a relative price LEVEL: one $ is the most economical tier, more $ is pricier. We show the level rather than raw unit prices so you can compare at a glance.
Generation pauses and resumes when you top up. Your live app keeps working; only credit-consuming features (like in-app AI) pause politely.
