With your brief ready, the rest is easy. Smart Build takes you from the description box to a working app in four stops: describe, answer, approve, build. This lesson shows what happens at each stop and what you need to do.
Describe and answer
Type your brief paragraph into the box and send it. The AI reads it and asks a few short questions about anything unclear — usually no more than a handful. They are multiple choice or short answer; two minutes and you are through.
If a question stumps you, do not worry; pick the most reasonable default and move on. You can always change these choices later just by asking.
The approval screen: spend your minute here
After your answers, the compiled plan appears: the app's name, its screens, the data it stores, and the workflow. Before hitting build, actually read this plan — it is the highest-return minute of the whole process.
- Scope: does the plan describe the job you asked for, or has it grown extra jobs on the side?
- Data fields: do the record fields match what you actually track? Anything missing, anything unnecessary?
- The out-of-scope list: are the things it says it will not do the same things you do not want?
Fix, then build
If something in the plan looks off, say the fix in a normal sentence: "Add a notes field to appointments" or "Drop the price field" is enough. The plan updates and you look again. When it sits right, press build.
The build runs in the background; even if you close the page, generation continues. When you come back, your app is waiting.
The first five minutes
When the app is ready, use it like it is real: enter a few actual records, move between screens, edit and delete one. Note what is missing or extra — that is the raw material for the next lesson, editing by conversation.
Do not invent your first records; enter real customers and real jobs. Real data exposes gaps faster than made-up data ever will.
